WOA Chapter Participates in Annual Awards Ceremony
On April 22, 2015 the Ft. Lowell-Apache Chapter, Tucson Arizona participated in the 36th Annual JROTC Awards Ceremony at
Flowing Wells High.
In 2005 the chapter created this medal to award to cadets who have demonstrated distinguished service during the course of the academic year.
One medal and ribbon is presented to a cadet at each grade level, freshman through senior. This medal and ribbon have been approved by
U.S. Army ROTC command and may be issued to any JROTC or ROTC cadet.

Scholarship Awarded to JROTC Cadet
CW5R Vincent Baiocchetti, Ft. Lowell-Apache Chapter, is shown awarding a scholarship to Cadet Colonel and Battalion Commander, Gabriela Herrejon Perez at the annual Awards Ceremony at the Flowing Wells High School in Tucson, Arizona. She will be attending Arizona State University in the fall with a major in education. She will also be a member of the Army ROTC program. The chapter created the scholarship in 2002 and has budgeted for 4 scholarships a year.

The Annual Army JROTC Awards’ Ceremony was held on May 23rd at the Flowing Wells High School in Tucson, Arizona. The Ft.Lowell-Apache Chapter has been supporting the school’s program for the past 13 years.

Chapter Member Returns from Kuwait |
CW2 Craig Downey has returned from Kuwait. Craig provided a very interesting briefing on his unit and his mission. Craig presented CW5R Vincent Baiocchetti, President, Fort Lowell-Apache Chapter, an American flag that was flown over Camp Arifjan, Kuwait on 15 January 2009, and an accompanying certificate. |

2008 Apache Drill Meet Winners |

The Marine JROTC Team is from Tuba City High School which is located in the northeast corner of the state. This is the 2nd year in a row that Tuba City has won the competition. |
