January 14, 2005

 

 

 

 

The meeting was called to order at 1440 hours by the Association President, CW5R Baiocchetti.  The President declared a quorum was present.  The meeting was held at the home of CW4R Harold Lindamood in Green Valley, Arizona.

 

Secretary’s Report:  Motion made by  CW3R Gill, seconded by CW3R Turner to approve the  minutes of the 8 November, 2004 meeting. Motion approved the by members present.

 

Treasurer’s Report: 

As of November 30, 2004

     Checking Account:  $1488.27

      Savings Account:  $26.67

 

President's Report:

A.     Sent message to Silver Chapter at Fort Huachuca and the Road Runner Chapter in Phoenix telling them about the meeting date change from January 15, 2005 to January 22, 2005 at the DoubleTree Hotel for discussion of the plans for the 2005 AMM.

 

B.     We had one letter of inquiry from a chapter regarding the JrROTC medals.          

 

Vice President's Report:

We will be putting on our web site all the information about the JrROTC medals.

           

Old Business:  

A.     The DoubleTree Hotel said that a minimum of  80% of the 75 rooms we contracted with them must be rented for us to have free use of the meeting room.

B.     A discussion was held on ways to improve participation of the Warrant Officers at the Marana ARNG Flight facility.

           

New Business:

            The subject of providing support to the Military Lounge at the Tucson Airport  was discussed.  No decisions were reached.

 

Adjournment:

 

CW3R Schmid made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.  Motion was seconded by CW2R Wilfong and passed by members present.  The meeting of the Fort Lowell-Apache Chapter was adjourned at 1520 hours.

 

Next meeting of the Ft. Lowell-Apache Chapter will be at 1800 hours, 10 January 2005 at MichelAngelo Restorante in Oro Valley.
