New Business

  1. A discussion about adding the new coin to the current JROTC medal form or creating a new order form ensued.  A final decision was not reached, although the members present are leaning towards a separate order form.  Webkeeper CW3R Michael Turner suggested using a separate process and form on the website

  1. A basic agreement, by show of hands, to proceed with the research for the Chapter Coin was reached

  1. Income Possibilities – Mrs. Joy Ozier mentioned the program that Eastern Star performs to deliver flowers for local florists, e.g. TEMP drivers for the florists. The Easter Star program nets approximately $5.00 per delivery, but requires a florist that will agree to participate

Good of the Order

5.     A short discussion ensued about the Chapter advertising CW2R Ted Cogut’s book, Forecaster! Battling the Weather Odds in Peace and War on the chapter website.  Ted graciously agreed to donate a fair percentage of the retail price to the chapter for each book sold via the website

6.     CW3R Michael Turner mentioned that his CRSC had been approved and he has received his back pay and is receiving his monthly CRSC in his retired pay

CW4R Harold Lindamood made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.  Seconded by CW3R Al Price  and passed by the members present at 1945 hours
